Laura Sibilia - Independent State Rep. (VT Windham-Bennington)

Rep. Sibilia is one of seven independents currently serving in Vermont. She won contested elections in 2014 and 2016 and has served on the House Ethics Panel and Gov. Phil Scott's transition leadership team.

State Rep. Laura Sibilia was elected to the Vermont House in contested elections in contested races in 2014 and 2016 and is uncontested in her 2018 re-election campaign. She is one of seven independents currently serving in Vermont.

She has served on Vermont Governor Phil Scott’s (R) transition leadership team and was appointed by Speaker of the House Mitzi Johnson (D) to the House Ethics Panel.

Her professional experience is in economic development planning and disaster recovery and she has served on her local school board for 17 years.  

Rep. Sibilia is the oldest of 12 siblings, mom of three, and married to the love of her life.
